What happens when you see a God ..

रंग रूप नूर तुझे , काळा सावळा ,
तुझ्या दर्शनानी मी, झाला बावळा |

सर्व काही घेउनि आला , तुझे बाळ रूप ,
काही जाणु नाही ऊन,  वारा वादळा |

तू नाव रंग सगळी कडे , देत तू हे ताल ,
दाहि दिशा अंतरमनी , भाव वेगळा |

धिन्ना धिन्ना नादा नी , झालो मोकळा ,
स्वप्ना पलीकडचा हा , आनंद सोहळा ॥

मैंने उसे तलाश किया , उसकी बातों मे, उसके लहजे में
उसकी तस्वीरों में , उसके रंगीन कपड़ों में,
उसके सामानो में, और उसके …हर तरफ हर जगह , कहा नही
वो मिला नहीं …कहीं नहीं लेकिन
जब शुरू किया लिखना , उसके बारें में
इंशाल्लाह वोह ‘नूर’, हर एक लफ्ज में अशर में..सियाही की हर एक बूँद में हाजिर था ॥

Dharma and Priests

I have been wondering on Doctor’s roles on treating patients and a priests role on doing so called dharma or rituals.Should not individual learn and treat himself rather than depending on the doctors- my experiments and experiences in homeopathy have convinced me of this – and same for calling priests for homams being done by priests:-)
May jyotish not only give us knowledge of dharma but also create confidence and fearlessness from God to the individual.

Below from PVR-i am convinced .

Based on Dharma Shastra guideline for this age, there is a HUGE difference between doing rituals by oneself & engaging a priest.

In Satya yuga, Manu Smriti was the authority for dharma matters. In Treta yuga, Goutama smriti was the authority for dharma matters. Maharshi Parasara, father of Veda Vyasa, is said to be the dharma shastra authority in Kali yuga.

A classic dharma shastra called “Parasara Madhaveeyam” says that a ritual such as homam performed in one’s name by one’s own disciple is 100 times more powerful than a ritual performed in one’s name by a priest; a ritual performed in one’s name by one’s own progeny is 100 times more powerful than a ritual performed in one’s name by a disciple; and, a ritual performed by oneself is 100 times more powerful than a ritual performed in one’s name by one’s progeny.

In other words, a ritual such as homam performed by oneself is 1,000,000 times more powerful than a ritual performed in one’s name by a priest! The bottomline is that one is on one’s own as Kali deepens and priests will be limited in their ability to give a material and spiritual uplift to others.
